WOODBRIDGE SONGSTER BRIGADE

In the 1960's, Joe Becker was the Songster Leader until work commitments made this impossible. The songsters were taken over by Corps Sergeant Major Copland. In 1969, the Poulson family joined us from the USA. It was not long before Ann Poulson took over the songster brigade. On their return to the States, the brigade stopped functioning.

In 1973, the songsters were reformed under Brian Weller. His leadership lasted until 1990 when after a short time Glynis Askew took over. In 1995, Glynis became an Auxliarry Captain with her husband Doug. and the Commanding Officer Lt. Dean Pallant took over the brigade. On his appointment to Zambia in 1996, Corps Sergeant Major Ken Stuttaford took over.
